What is Sikki Art?

Sikki Art is an exquisite and traditional craft that utilizes the natural fiber of Sikki, also known as Vetiver Grass. This sacred grass has been used for generations in Bihar to handcraft a variety of items, such as plates, figures of creatures, and toys, using intricate weaving techniques. Our innovative approach at Rachna Sikki Hastkala Kendra has transformed this traditional craft into an art form, creating unique pieces like wall-hangings, landscapes, religious deity figures, yantras, and human portraits.

Who We Are?

Founded by Dhirendra Kumar, Rachna Sikki Hastkala Kendra is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Sikki art. Our journey began with a vision to innovate beyond traditional weaving techniques, exploring the endless possibilities of this sacred grass. Today, our unique collection includes not only traditional designs but also modern interpretations, showcasing the versatility and beauty of Sikki. All our exceptional quality craftwork is produced exclusively by Dhirendra Kumar and his dedicated team of trainees in Bharat (India).
